Amazing shoes but please make some low key color ways.
These are do it all amazing shoes, but PLEASE just make some low key colors that just blend in and don't draw attention to themselves as a running shoe. A lot of your customers just want to wear them as an everyday shoe and don't want teal, green or blue shoes.

U-G-L-Y The colors got no alibi
Love the fit, love everything, except the colorways. I've had to look elsewhere for my footwear the last two seasons because of these color choices. Keep holding out for some earth, neutral, black/white or literally any tone other than the current styles. The primary colors aren't really the problem, but the secondary color that ruins the whole thing. I did buy some last year because I like the wide toe box but they clash with my clothes too bad to actually wear in public. Yes, they also come apart fairly quickly but so do most running shoes these days. Please Altra, no need to respond with a hollow auto-reply, just fix the colors for us. Please!

Colors are out of control!!
I absolutely LOVED Altra Loan Peak shoes. I've had worn then for 8 years. Probably had 12 pairs. Everything from hiking 1000's of miles, yard work, working out, hanging out and even TTG events. Wear then until total failure of shoe. Now avoid them completely. Shoes are awesome. BUT the COLORS ARE ABSOLUTILY STUPID. Now I wear GO RUCK shoes. The entire team at Altra who's in charge of colors needs to be fired!

Not standing behind there product
Bought my first pair of Altra Lone Peak 8's after reading many reviews and hearing common quality control complaints. I bought the shoes online from a 3rd party vendor. I had the shoes for less than a month before the toe cap started to separate from the mesh. Contacted Altra and they told me because I bought from a third party vendor who was not part of their authorized retail list they would not issue a replacement. Not even a month of ownership and less than 15 miles of use. If Altra can't stand behind their product and do better quality control, I don't think I can recommend or use these shoes.

Soles last only a few months
These were so comfy right out of the box but the sole lugs were 80% gone in about 4 months of wearing as an everyday shoe. Pretty ridiculous life span with no recourse for replacement. Why not use the Vibram?

More like negative drop
They are so soft the heel sinks into the shoe quite a bit giving a sensation of negative drop. I'm no stranger to zero drop shoes, been using them for years but these are not good. My ankle, calves & feet hurt so bad I had to return them. Love the styling though.

Brooks for the win
I loved my Altra boots and figured I'd give their shoes a try after years of wearing Brooks. These shoes gave me plantar fasciitis and are falling apart after maybe 5 runs. I don't usually write reviews, but these are noticably not worth the price tag. Would value at around $40.

Coming from superior 6, pleasantly suprised
New to Altra and have only had the Superior 6s. Put about 400 miles on them and loved them but wanted to try out the LP as the outsole was beginning to ware on the superiors. Was afraid of the extra stack/ cushion ruining the ground feel but after a couple tests it seems pretty similar with just some more comfort on downhills. This shoe doesn't feel too much heavier or sturdier as I expected. Will likely be rotating between this and the superiors, using the LP for longer runs or runs that include more pavement.

Low Quality Product and Poor Customer Service
I've been trail running with these shoes for 4 months. After only 4 months the side of my shoes seam broke leaving a gapping hole as shown in the picture. For trail running shoes to break after only 4 months of use is pretty ridiculous. I asked customer service for a replacement, but they were not helpful. 1/5 For Product 1/5 For Customer Service

Kind of bummed
Shoe size fits well and feels good but already falling apart. Hoping it's a one off thing. I started running in these mid Feb and they're blowing out on the side early April. I've had 2 of the older pairs and they never blew out the side like this and felt like they were more durable. Hopefully they're taking these reviews to heart and can improve on a newer version. On a side note, would love to see "wides" available in variation of colors but understand that's potentially a hard production cost.
