The Shoe I Needed and Hopefully Will Keep
My intention on having a pair of the Primes were sparked by two different buddies having their own Pairs with nothing but positive perspectives, I also saw them as just a good day shoe for work and quick craggin, not necessarily a heavy duty approach shoe. I've owned them for around two weeks with use in various activities including construction, route setting, Climbing 5.7 slab. Overall within these couple days they've held up and met everything I've expected of them, however there is some wear showing up I would be comfortable with after 6 months not two weeks. the most obvious being that one both shoes the second eye loop closest to the toe box is stretched double in size and seems that it will rip through soon enough. I don't know if this is just a natural "blossoming" of the shoe and will hold on for a while, If I put them through way too much way too fast, or a faulty product. all possibilities aside it is a bummer and I know BD makes gear with integrity that hopefully is better than what I got. I would give 5 stars without the eye loops stretching because they're great shoes besides that. My suggestion is just metal rings inside the loops or adjusting the pattern of the laces lining up so when pulled tight it is better equalized.

100 miles Later
After climbing 6 14ers in these, I am thoroughly impressed. They held up very well to the abuse they took. They were great on low angle climbing and smearing, and felt secure on large holds during some easy 5th class scrambles. I wouldn't climb above 5.8 in these but up until that point and jogging on trails they were phenomenal. I did have a pair of trail super feet in them, which I would recommend if you will be hiking miles in these. Bought a second pair. 9.5/10 would recommend.

Surprised me
I ordered these online without ever trying any on. They fit true in size, and are comfy for me. I have a slightly wider foot and these have felt great while wearing them to work. I have not worn them out in the wild.

Great fit, colors and material
I've purchased three pairs of the Prime shoes so far. I love how they match most any outfit. The fit is great and they work well for both light-climbing and everyday wear. I usually wear a 9 to 9.5 and these fit best as a 9.5.

Comfy and cool
I went for the dark curry color combo, and I’m glad I did. They look great and felt really comfortable out of the box. I’m generally a 9.5 in most shoes but went with a 10 here, which fits nicely.

Poor quality
The leather was punctured in two places after less than a year of use. I've only used them in town. They are very comfortable, though.

The best pair of shoes
The best pair of shoes I have ever bought, lightweight, extremely comfortable and well built, excellent quality and perfect fit, I bought another pair immediately, although not directly from the website, as they were no longer in stock.

Exactly what I was looking for
Great snug fit, with the flexibility to slip on and off. Definitely an everyday wear.

Poor fit
I had a pair of Men's Circuit shoes (size 9.5) for a few years and really enjoyed them. I wore them down and went with the Men's Prime shoes for a replacement. Given how well the 9.5 size fit me before, I ordered the 9.5 size again. The new shoes were tight on the sides of my feet and rather stiff. I wore them on/off for a week hoping to break them in, but still found them tight. Then after wearing them for 8 hours while doing work around the yard, I ended up with runners toenail. Not a fan of these shoes fit. Seems like good construction so 2 stars for that.

Look great and super comfy
I sized up a half size from my regular street shoe size and am glad I did. Felt like pair of shoes I had already broken in the first time I tried them on.
