Why We Like The Brooks Ghost 16 Shoe
Now lighter and plusher, the Brooks Ghost 16 Shoe gives us our most comfortable ride yet. This iteration features a full-length, nitrogen-infused DNA Loft v3 midsole foam for a smoother, softer ride that has us gliding through transitions for an effortless flow. To cut even more weight, the outsole features thinner rubber zones that are just as durable thanks to the new, rugged compound.

Great but runs a little small
I have worn Ghosts for 5 years. I like the 16 better than both the 14 and 15. The 13 will always be my favorite. Now, for the 16... the shape and cushion are great. The toe box is roomier than the last two models, which I appreciate. However, it seems like it runs a half size small. I think I may return mine for a half size up. Overall, positive improvements from the last couple releases.

Comfortable
I actually really love them but am returning because I don’t love the colors available.

I have run in Ghosts since the 10. Some versions fit me better than others. 15 was not my favorite, felt heavy for running compared to 14, I have them and used them for walking. 16 is really good. I was wondering about the extra width but I hardly felt it, and they are really soft in the landing. I have noticed that I feel better and they make me use my legs muscles better. I have better contact with the ground than 14 which I still love but now it feels like a less technical shoe in comparison. Also, I have already done a couple runs in the hot temps, and I can feel that my feet are more cooked in the 14. Well done Brooks!

New shoes, uncomfortable fit
I’ ve been a Ghost wearer for the past 8 years and was excited to get my new pair, however, much to my dismay after several attempts to wear my new pair, they were just not comfortable and they made my feet hurt. I returned them only to attempt now to try to find a new pair of Ghost 15 or older to get the comfort that I came to rely on.

I absolutely love the colors. I feel that there isn't as much cushion, and support as the other versions.

I have been a loyal fan of the Ghost since the Adrenalines seemed to get wider. I was disappointed that the Ghost 16 seems to have gotten wider in the toe box. I had to lace them so tight and there was still a lot of movement. So, I gave them to my daughter, who has a wider foot and uses insoles and bought the Ghost 15. The 15 still feels a little wider than the 14, but nothing like the 16.

I. Love. These.
I. Love. These. Super comfortable and great bounce for playing court sports. I know these are running sneakers but they are wide enough to give me the support I need and comfortable enough to wear for hours without any foot pain.
