Wish it had a longer torso

I've been shopping for a 850 fill down jacket for backpacking and 3-season wear. I wanted this jacket, but couldn't accept the torso length. I'm 6'2" and 230 pounds with brood shoulders. Chest, arms, and waist were fit well with room for a mid-layer. If the torso was 1-2" longer I'd have kept it as my go-to jacket.

Perfect jacket for every day

This is now my second Helium Down Hoodie and I'm still loving it. One of my warmest every day jackets.

Best jacket that I've ever put on my back

This is by far the best jacket that I've ever owned. It's extremely comfortable with excellent pockets. The Diamond Fuse shell fabric is super durable and I appreciate the waterproof shoulders and hood. This is my third Outdoor Research jacket that I own and they just keep getting better. Thanks OR!

Great fit. Lightweight enough to pack.

Perfect fit. Nice and light. Wish the color could have been more red as shown on the website. Turned out to be a burned red.

My go-to jacket

This is a great jacket. I have taken it everywhere with me. The thing that I find with many other down jackets is that they are not durable enough for the clumsy lifestyle that I have. The Helium fabric on the shoulders and hood is awesome! It especially sheds off rainy Seattle weather, but is also very durable. It is my favorite down jacket I have ever owned. I did need to size up for this one so that I could wear a fleece underneith it as well. If you wanted a more fitted look and feel I would keep with your normal jacket size.

Prefect cold hiking coat

Shoulder material works great with a pack. Very warm and comfortable even with hood on. Good fit over layers with suggested measurements from website. Fleece lined pockets are super. Doing great keeping a tough West Virginia winter with negative temps and harsh winds at bay.

Great Jacket for cold and slightly wet weather

This puffy is a perfect jacket for PNW winters. It keeps you warm and dry without having to wear a rain jacket. It's my go to jacket for middle of winter. I am 5'8", 165lbs and wear a size small.

Helium down hoody very comfortable

Love this jacket. It's my go to now. Holds off the drizzle. Could be a little bit longer.

My new go to jacket!

Love this jacket! Perfect for those cold and windy days. The hood and shoulder waterproof areas help in light rain.

Perfect for cold and humid Montreal winter temperature

Very pleased with the product. I'm 6'5" and 210 pds. XL size fits well to my body and also under my OR AscentShell jacket. Not to puffy. The length of the sleeves are perfect with my long arms. I live near Montreal, Quebec, where winter can be quite cold and humid. Bought the hoodie with the perspective of using it while taking a lunch break during a hike or at the end of a day-hike, but so far, mainly used it in day-to-day activities in and around town. The warmth and wind resistance do well the job so far. Looking forward to "stressed it" in harsher conditions.
