Why We Like The Saucony Xodus Ultra 2 Trail Running Shoe
We stride further and faster when laced in the Saucony Xodus Ultra 2 Trail Running Shoe. The platform features Saucony's lightest and most responsive foam, giving us max cush and max energy, while the PwrRun frame gives our arch a touch of support to keep our joints happy deep into the miles. From raised roots to rock fields, the sole's 3-piece construction and ultra-sticky rubber boost ground contact and bite for a solid strike and a powerful toe off every time.

Stretch Laces Are Annoying
Had these shoes for about a month and have been running 5-6 miles with them 3-4 times per week. Overall this is comfortable shoe, but the stretch laces are terrible as it takes too long to adjust them to the correct tightness. Regular, non-stretch laces would be much more efficient and take the guess work out of tightening the shoe.

Highly recommend Xodus Ultra 2
Great shoe for long runs, even on technical trails.

96 miles
Bought for a 100 mile ultra in June. Have only put 96 miles on them in training and already have holes in the upper. Not the kind of quality I’m used to getting in my Saucony shoes. Not happy.

Best trail shoes ever!
I love these shoes! So much more comfortable than the most expensive pair of trail shoes that Saucony sells.. If you are a trail ultra marathon person or even just a hiker these are the shoes for you! I’ve had quite a few different pairs for ultra marathons and I like these the best so far. Plus Saucony stands behind the quality of their shoes. If they start to fall apart before a year, just contact them with photos and they mail you a new pair! What’s not to love about that. Just buy them!

Great but ready for Xodus 3
These are really good trail shoes. They feel perfect as soon as you put them on. That said, I’d prefer to see a revamp with more energy return. Think triumph but for trail if you know what I mean. But if you need a solid quality long distance trail shoe this one fits the bill.

Nice colors nice ride
I bought these after years as a altra customer. These are good on the trail and appear to be well built and designed. Color scheme is a nice change from the usual plain Jane color choices.

Run small in size
Nice shies buy way too small. I own 2 other pairs, same size but these run tight. Ended up returning.

Great for Trail Running!
Only have 25 miles on them but love them so far! I'm a bigger runner at 6'-0" and 210 lbs and I really like the thicker stack and additional drop compared to the Peregrine for my longer trail runs. The toe box is wide with plenty of room for my toes and my heels stay in place on the down hills. No hot spots or blisters so far. Other reviews mention durability issues with these shoes, but they have held up great so far. I love them!

Jury's out on this pair
Not sure why, but these don't fit the same as my previous pair. Both size 13. The new ones are significantly tighter in the toe box.

Great trail running shoes
Great shoes: light, responsive but still comfortable. Love them for my long and/or technical runs
