Why We Like The Hike Light Cushion Low Ankle Sock
Some of us simply prefer the freedom of a rugged hiking shoe rather than a boot, and Smartwool has made the best partner for our pair. These no-show socks have just enough comfort to cushion our steps, and the combination of merino wool and nylon offer tough tech that manages moisture and resists odor buildup on multi-day hiking trips.

Nice Socks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid socks, very comfortable and durable, sizing is larger than expected. I have a 7 shoe size, went with women's medium and even after intentionally shrinking them they are still a little large.

Love it when my shoes and feet don't stink, yay!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Smartwool socks primarily for hiking in the last 20 years, but have recently started shifting my day to day socks over from cotton to wool. I've purchased some other brands of wool socks from various retailers, but they never seem as comfortable. What I love about these socks is that they offer a little extra cushion on the bottom/heal/toes, and thinner on top. These socks increase my feet comfort ALL day long. From going into the office and traveling, I love them for everything. Any time I buy new shoes now, I only want to wear wool socks because then my shoes don't stink! Like taking my shoes off on the plane was a no-no before, but now I have the freedom and don't have to worry if I offend others. That's the joy of wool!!

Packaging problem
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do have an issue with the packaging. I used scissors along the inside of the folded, glued top. This is usually a safe place to open an envelope. One pair of the socks I ordered were stuck along this edge and before I knew it I have cut into the socks.
