A very wide brimmed hat
I love the very wide brim of this hat, and that it can fold flat for packing. It is a beautiful and flattering color. It was only available in Large, and the diameter can be adjusted. However the crown of this hat is too high. Regardless of how I adjust the diameter, it rides down onto my ears and it's kind of annoying. I am going to try tacking it up a little. Will see how that goes!

My favorite hat!!
The best hat ever! It is perfect for hiking, ball park games, walking, and gardening. I recently wore this hat 3 days in Yosemite and the wide brim keeps the sun out! I like the adjustment on the chin and around the head for a perfect fit. Highly recommend!

Good hat
Great hat. This hat is very well made and comfortable. The brim is good for sun blocking while not blocking vision.

“The One”
Got this for hiking in AZ on a sunny week with temps in the 80s. Worked great. Totally covers my head and ears, good ventilation, cleans up easily, folds and stows in pack nicely when not needed. Brim holds up well in moderate winds, but it is a good “sail”, so make sure to use the chin strap when up on a mountain! Great hat and great value for anyone sun sensitive who will be spending a lot of time in the sun.

Amazing hat for traveling to sunny locations
This hat is amazing. I traveled to Ecuador for two weeks and this hat was used pretty much every day. The fact it folds up makes it so nice to travel with. I paired it up with some sun hoodies from Burgeon Outdoors and never got sunburned the entire trip. Part of our trip was to the Galápagos Islands where we had naturalist with us while on various islands. They all commented on the hat saying how great it was. They all actually loved Sunday Afternoon hats and wear them themselves saying how the quality just stands out above all of the other hats brands. I couldnt agree more. I’m a huge convert to Sunday Afternoons!

Excellent hat for rain protection & sun protection
This is my new favorite rain hat and cold weather hat! I already had a "rain hat" made by a different company, but that brim is only 2 3/4" wide. This Latitude Hat is 4" in front, which means my glasses don't get wet and my face stays dry. I didn't plan for it to be my rain hat, as it has a mesh, but I can walk 45 minutes in a moderately heavy rain (western Oregon) before the rain soaks through the side mesh or the crown. Also, I've worn it to protect my face from the sun's UVA (present even in winter) when it's only 40 degrees. It keeps a good amount of warmth in (I have plenty of hair), as long as it isn't very windy. If it's windy and 40 degrees then I can feel cold air on my head, but I love the 4" brim so much I wear it even in the 30s. If the winds are very strong, though, you really need to tighten the chin strap so much that the brim curves. (The big brim makes the hat want to fly off your head in a moderate gust, especially to the front. But I wear it in strong winds, anyway.) The hat's fabric absorbs rain for a while which is actually nice, as my other company's "rain hat" repels rain instantly, which means I get water dripping off the hat onto me very soon. With this hat if I'm not walking in the hard rain too long (20 minutes) then it won't drip onto me. The hat looks casual, which is okay since I'm wearing a casual rain jacket. The greyish blue is OK for a male or female. I don't know if the mesh will ventilate well when it gets to be 70s or hotter, but even if it works as only a rain or cold weather sun hat, I'm very happy with this purchase!

5 Star Quality and Customer Service
Attempted to first purchase a cheap replacement hat on another retail site and regretted quickly when the quality and feel did not compare with Sunday Afternoon hats. I won't make that mistake again. Sunday Afternoon hats are once every penny.
