Why We Like The KEEN Targhee IV Mid WP Hiking Boot
When the trail is more mud than dirt, and there's more rain in the forecast, we trust the KEEN Targhee IV Mid WP Hiking Boot to keep our feet dry and stable over slippery terrain. The KEEN.DRY waterproof membrane repels mud and water as we pick our way across ruts and roots, keeping our socks dry the entire way. The KEEN.RUGGED sole provides excellent traction, giving us excellent grip as we scramble over wet rocks, and the heel capture system and stability shank keep our foot secure so we can trust each step on our way to the summit.

Too wide
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing targhee boots for years. Love them. I wear standard size 11 shoes. Bought the targhee IV and found them way too wide. Reordered the targhee 3 and they fit perfect as I’ve been accustomed to for years

So far the boot working
So far the boot working really well. Run a cattle farm and I refuse to wear rubber boots. These if they hold up will be the first pair of many.

Comfort and functionality
I have never worn a more comfortable hiking boot, and light enough to keep you moving while navigating the terrain without fatigue.

Targhee IV
I received these as part of a promotion and I have been a long time Keen owner as they fit my feet well and my toes enjoy the wide toe box. I have warn then in wet and dry conditions and had had no issues - I am still need to test them on rocks that are wet to see how they grip.

Boots on the ground!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my go to boots no matter what my plans are for the day. Ice fishing, ATV, running the tractor or just hanging out with friends and family. From work to casual activities these boots are awesome. I strongly recommend getting the waterproof boots. Joe

Keen comfort at a cost
I LOVE Keen shoes, and I wanted to love these waterproof Targhee IV boots. I wore them once, however, and one of the shoestring snaps broke, right at the ankle where I wanted more support. I had to return the boots, as this design flaw would likely not be corrected with a new pair. I’ll keep my other Keen hiking shoes and water shoes, but the Targhee IVs were a big disappointment.

Love the Targhee IV
Great shoe. Although I wish the entire welt were black instead of the cream/grey, I overall love the blue and realize I can’t have everything. As always I wish they were made in America. I would be willing to pay more for an American shoe.

They are okay
Went with these because the brand I have been wearing was bought out and the quality decreased. These boots are just okay. Had to change out the insoles (haven’t had two with several other brands Merrel, Oboz) first time. Have purchased boots online without trying on. Recommend trying on first
