Very happy with this watch.
Very happy with this watch. Looks nice. Great battery life. Have used it for workouts and some walks. Not a run yet, but tomorrow.

Wahoo Rival
Watch looks and wears great. Battery lasts about a week. Still need to read manual to see how to maximize the features. Pretty happy so far.

Is a great watch, I
Is a great watch, I wish it was touch screen but I love the fact that connects to my other sensors. The band is a too narrow so it has to be really tight so it doesn’t slip to the end of my wrist.

Great watch. Great price.
It simply works well. The Rival provides accurate metrics in its data fields. Awesome battery life, and connects well in the Elemnt ecosystem.

Simple but good Sport Watch!
I have used the Rival Smart match for over a month now. Overall, it's a decent watch for the price. It sure lacks some of the features found on the more expensive items but it does the job with satisfaction. The app user interface is very (too?) basic and simple to use without the overwhelming of features that we barely use. The watch itself is comfortable, not heavy or bulky on the wrist. Also some little annoyances, such as the seconds displays only...for few seconds and disappear, or some of the metrics (such as RPM. average speed) in some of the preset modes display the value but not the title of this value (it appears and disappears after few seconds), but overall, I'm satisfied with it. If Wahoo still sales the watch at half price on its website (i speculate that they will come with an updated version this year or next year...), then it totally worth the price!

Having some regrets…
After about a week, my watch decided to change the watchface to some basic setting…I’ve tried disconnecting and repairing but nothing has fixed it. I now have a basic watch that doesn’t display my steps, heart rate, or battery life on the main screen. Basically, worthless to me. Think twice before purchasing.

You can’t do what?!?!
I’ve only had the watch for a month and my experience with it is getting better as I’m learning its quirks but one quirk that is baffling to me and preventing me from giving it a better rating is that it has failed to upload to the companion app now twice. Fortunately, I was able to connect to my laptop and recover the workouts but I’m not able to manually upload the missing workouts to my Wahoo Fitness account. But I am able to upload to my 3rd party activity tracker. That seems backwards. I do like the price, battery life, and phone notifications sync so not giving up on it yet.

Great watch but HR accuracy is average
Great product.. would love option to view total calories burned (not just workout calories) though. Heart rate works pretty well though does require some adjusting to pick up accurately during bike rides.

Excellent Starter Watch
Great watch, showed it off to everyone as soon as it came in. Relatively inexpensive, very intuitive layout and customizable interface. Can track a wide variety of activities, which is great because I run, bike, hike, and swim. It's definitely a motivator and acted as a sort of catalyst for my active lifestyle. I get a lot more excited about going on a run or going out, whatever. I rely a lot on the heart rate data to gauge where my effort levels are. And the alarm feature + long battery life is very useful when backpacking. My only complaints: step counter is very inaccurate, I think. If the watch isn't positioned right, there will be gaps in your heart rate tracking. And if you sweat enough the watch can get rather slippy on your arm. None of these issues have really affected me too much. I'm still really enthused about owning this watch. Plus the name is fun. Wahoo! Everyone loves it. If you're wondering, you can't download and listen to music using this watch, but you can pause/skip etc. music playing from your phone if it is nearby. So if that is something that is important to you, you'll have to keep looking or get another device for that. I don't run with music most of the time though. I overall recommend.

Good watch.
I am pleased with the watch so far. It does everything I need it to do. The heart rate sensor is very accurate. It displays on my bike computer with very limited interruption. My only ( very minor) dissatisfaction is that I can't get the text message alerts to work.
